Before cleaning begins, it's essential to declutter surfaces and remove any items that may hinder the cleaning process.
Dusting
Dusting is typically done from top to bottom to prevent dust from resettling on already cleaned surfaces.
Dusting includes shelves, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Vacuuming and Sweeping
Floors are vacuumed or swept to remove loose dirt, dust, and debris.
Special attention is given to corners and edges.
Mopping
Hard floors are mopped using an appropriate cleaning solution.
Stains and spills are addressed.
Kitchen Cleaning
Countertops, sinks, and appliances are wiped down and cleaned.
The exterior of appliances, such as the stove and refrigerator, is cleaned.
The inside of the microwave may be cleaned.
Dishes may be loaded into the dishwasher.
Bathroom Cleaning
Sinks, countertops, mirrors, and fixtures are cleaned and sanitized.
Toilets are cleaned and sanitized, including the bowl, seat, and exterior.
The bathtub and/or shower are cleaned, including tiles or walls.
Floors are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Bedroom and Living Areas
Beds are made (if requested).
All surfaces are dusted, including furniture, picture frames, and electronics.
Trash is emptied.
Window and Glass Cleaning (if included)
Windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces are cleaned.
Additional Tasks
Changing bed linens.
Laundry.
Interior cabinet or fridge cleaning.
Special attention to specific areas or tasks as per the client's request.
Quality Check
The cleaning team conducts a final walk-through to ensure all areas have been properly cleaned.
Any missed spots are addressed.
Client Inspection and Feedback
The client is invited to inspect the cleaning results and provide feedback.
Any concerns or specific requests are noted for future visits.
Final Touches
Any final touches or spot cleaning are performed based on client feedback.
Equipment and Supplies Cleanup
Cleaning equipment and supplies are gathered and put away.
Closing and Locking Up
The cleaning team ensures that all doors and windows are locked, and the home is secured.
